Canon reveals stunning winning image of its Redline Challenge competitio

Canon is thrilled to reveal the winner of its  Light in the Dark  themed Redline Challenge photography competition as  Piotr Skrzypiec  from Poland, now living in Slovenia, who wowed judges with his striking photo, Lost Highway. Piotr will receive over  €14,000 worth of Canon kit including the EOS R5 and RF lenses  to help take his craft to the next level along with a personal photography assignment and mentoring session with judge and Canon Ambassador,  Lorenz Holder . Vodacom South Africa and Nokia achieve highest transmission rates across a live optical network in Africa

  Vodacom South Africa and Nokia are working together to transform the operator’s nationwide optical transmission network through Nokia’s Photonic Service Engine 3 (PSE-3) chipset hardware to deliver high capacity transmission. Through a recent field trial, the companies achieved the highest data transmission rates and performance across their live optical network, demonstrating a significant increase in transmission network capacity for Vodacom South Africa.    The optical transmission network allows the transference of data on different light frequencies in an optic fibre cable. The deployment of the Nokia 1830 Photonic Service Switch will  assist Vodacom South Africa in maintaining high quality data services across the country, to both address   the ongoing surge in data traffic during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Remote   working needs digital   sauce   South African enterprises took a step backward in digital   transformation over the first year of the pandemic, as disruptions, lockdowns and staff   unable to maintain operations remotely slowed down roll-out of new systems at head   offices.   This is one of the startling findings of the Digital Corporation in South Africa 2021 research  study, conducted by World Wide Worx with the support of Syspro, Dell Technologies, Intel   and Cycan.
