Vivo V25 scoring goals all round

Vivo V25 scoring goals all round

The FIFA 2022 Soccer World Cup season is upon us and the anticipation for 20 November 2022 is a few more sleeps away.  However, while we await the overall tournament, one of the main sponsors has released a new line up of the V series. In total, there are three new devices, the Vivo V25e, V25 and V25 PRO: market dependent.  They all share the same design language, but if you look under the hood, they all bring their own power set, and this is due to the partnership Vivo has with MediaTek. The V25 5G with a MediaTek Dimensity900, and the V25e with a MediaTek Helio G99. These chips bring a variety of power options to the devices, e.g., MediaTek Intelligent Display Sync power, which intelligent power savings to maximize power daily without sacrificing battery life. The SOC is an Octa core-chip built on a 6nm process clocked at 2.4 GHz and 2.2 GHz respectively, tasks like gaming, video and battery life are controlled and optimized very well for the software included on this device.

I have been daily driving the Vivo V25 for the past few weeks, if you one of the lucky people headed to the World Cup with the Vivo V25 in hand you have made a good choice. Amongst the crowds, your device will catch everyone's eyes with its flashy colours Elegant Black, Sunrise Gold, Surfing Blue. The design of the device is squared off box shaped, and sits very comfortable in hand and does not cause any discomfort. The display gets super bright and features the following spec set: FHD 6.44 inches– AMOLED, 90Hz - 1300 nits (peak) if you an early riser allow your eyes to adjust before checking your daily feeds. The Amoled display is perfect for mobile gaming, I personally enjoy a good game of COD mobile with the optimized game modes. The display refreshes at 90 Hz with menus and contents looking buttery smooth, I would have loved to see a high frame rate 4K option on the device to view content in 2160P on the 90Hz display.

The front facing camera is a 50MP AF shooter, this means you will get the most perfect selfie even if you ended up jumping up and down when your favourite team scores. Round the back is a triple camera setup, 64 MP, f/1.8, (wide) OIS perfect for portrait and video, 8 MP, f/2.2 (ultra wide) landscape and group shot and a 2MP (macro) for the smaller items. The V25 captures very detailed pictures and video are awesome but.... There is only an option of 4K 30FPS and 30and 60 FPS capped at 1080P. There are various other software photo and video options, that will assist you with creating the perfect content but, the point and shoot option with the 64MP OIS camera will serve you well.

Vivo has various storage options on the V25 and this is market dependent, 128GB / 8GB RAM, 265/ 8GB RAM, 265/ 12GB RAM. If more seems like better to you Vivo, has you covered, even if you cannot get your hands on the 265/12GB version Vivo has the extended ram option whereby 8GB, is provided from internal storage. While using the device I think I managed to drain the battery only once, this is hardware and software integration and if you do manage to drain the battery, a 44W brick is included in the box that's able to get you from 0-61% in 30 minutes.

The Vivo V25 is a very strong recommendation due to the ability to adapt and make changes to their devices, keeping the price just right to challenge some of the competitors. With Black Friday around the corner, we might see some specials from various network provides and shop and maybe this is your year you become a champion with Vivo.
