THE AWESOME A53 PACKED WITH A PUNCH
What
is AWESOME defined, well according to the Oxford dictionary its "very good,
great fun, etc., According to Samsung the Galaxy A range is AWESOME in all senses of the word.
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is a mid-range Android-based smartphone developed and manufactured by Samsung Electronics as a part of its Galaxy A range. If you in the market for a new device this might just be your next purchase. But before you ask the question why should I consider purchasing this device let me be your guide.
The phone was announced on 17 March 2022 at Samsung Galaxy
Unpacked event alongside the Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A73 5G. Galaxy A53 5G
Phone's price is $449 (R 7,204.20) for a 128 GB model. The device is very
responsive and that mainly due to the fact that it run on Samsung's Exynos 5 nm
processor. The chipset is a Samsung Exynos 1280 with an octagonal CPU (2 cores
at 2.4 GHz + 6 cores at 2 GHz). UFS type 2 internal memory is 128/256 GB expandable
with microSD up to 1 TB, while the RAM is 6 or 8 GB (depending on the version
chosen).The phone has a quad-camera system featuring 64 MP main camera with 32
MP front camera.
The
device features a 6.5 inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels
,120Hz refresh rate a 5000 mAh battery comes in a variety of AWESOME colors (Black, White, Blue, Peach) - Market dependent while only weighing 189g.
The screen is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The back panel and
side are made of frosted plastic.
The design of the smartphone is similar to its predecessor, but as
in the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and Samsung Galaxy A73 5G, the rear panel is now
completely flat, and the transition between the rear panel and the camera unit
is smoother. The Galaxy A53 5G, unlike the Samsung Galaxy A52, does not have a
3.5 mm audio jack. Also Galaxy A53 5G has protection against moisture and dust
according to the IP67 standard.
The A range has always been based around the creative and pushing the limits of
what the device can offer , The display is gorgeous and good for viewing
content and creating whether in sun or rain.
The
device is pack with hardware and software features ,so creating content
is easy and with 5G connectivity you will have it online in no time. The
device features an array of camera on the front a 32MP punch hole camera that
creates the most detailed selfies in clear and low light conditions. Round the
back the device features one of the AWESOME colors the review unit featured

Depending
on the scene you will either get a high quality wide or macro shot if you want
to capture those mini moments , the stand out flagship feature this year is
Nightography and is featured on the Galaxy A53 the camera along with AI
processing makes all the shots look like professional pieces. Video offers FHD
IN 30 and 60 FPS when you switch over to UHD there is only an option of 30 FPS
so slowdowns in edit is not really possible. All other camera modes are present
but my personal favourite is the “FUN” feature that users SNAPCHAT filters that
allows you to create some funky art pieces. Below are USB-C connector, speaker,
microphone and depending on the version slot for 1 SIM card and micro SD memory
card up to 1 TB or hybrid slot for 2 SIM cards or 1 SIM card and memory card
micro SD format up to 1 TB. The second microphone is located on top. On the
right side are the volume buttons and the smartphone lock button.
Overall
the device is light and comfortable in hand it’s a plastic body so no worries
about back shatter , although I wish it featured the glass back which would
defiantly have brought wireless
Charging
although fast charge is available . I would recommend this device to anyone who
is in the market for a new device its featured package and comes in at a
reasonable price , In my time reviewing this device I had a awesome time the
device is entertaining and will really interest it’s user
